Annie Inscore Adams, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2021. Annie was born on May 29, 1932 to the late William Sanford and Zera Pardue Inscore.   She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Monroe Adams; brothers, Gorrell (Texie Lou) Inscore, Ralph (Reta) Inscore, Hubert (Mae) Inscore, Barney Inscore; sisters, Helen (Atlas) Swaim, Ruth (Bill) Somers, Eva (Lonnie) Adams; brother-in-laws, Monroe Holloway and Bill Davis. 

Annie was a faithful, lifetime member of Swan Creek Baptist Church. She was a true example of a Proverbs 31 woman.  She loved to quilt and enjoyed farming.  She was a wonderful mom and attentive grandmother. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Roger Carl (Vanessa) Adams, Harold Ray (Barbara) Adams, Darold Gray (Phoebe) Adams, and Jerry Ann (Tony) Truitt; grandchildren, Allen Adams, Alexandria Dixon, Jacob (Lora) Adams, Zachariah (Kayla) Adams, Jessica (Robert) Clifton, Rosmond (Travis) O’Berry, and Adam (Amy) Truitt; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dessie Holloway, Mildred Davis, and Carol (Walter) Barker. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice Home Care for their loving care during Mrs. Adams illness. 

Annie will be available for viewing from 10 until 11 AM at Swan Creek Baptist Church in Jonesville on Thursday, December 23, 2021. The funeral service will follow in the church at 11 AM, officiated by Rev. Scott Bishop, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
