Yadkinville Mrs. Annie Lou Pendry Lynch, 88, went to be with her Lord & Savior and the love of her life, Loyd Lynch, Monday, December 28, 2020. Mrs. Lynch was born July 30, 1932 in Yadkin County to Charlie and Telia Cook Pendry. She graduated from Yadkinville High School in 1951. Mrs. Lynch was a member of Turner’s Creek Baptist Church and retired from Hanes Hosiery after 35 years of service. She enjoyed watching the Braves, her “ladies’ day out” with friends, and going to all the local restaurants, but nothing compared to the love she had for her husband, children, and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Loyd George Lynch; sisters, Minnie Calloway, Mattie Cook, Mollie Pendry, Dorothy Brown, Nell Emerson, and Alma Shore; brothers, Buford, Fred, Leon, Ernest, Thad, Overlee, and George Pendry; and good friends, Mary “Shorty” Evans and Doris Bolin. She is survived by two daughters, Reta Lynch and Susan (Thomas) King; grandchildren, Ashley Moncus & fiancée Justin Andrews, Amanda (Kyle) Suddeth, Bryan (Katelyn) King, and Eric King; great grandchildren, Jackson, Calvin, Julia, Jaxon, Avan, and arriving soon, Baby Suddeth; and best friend, Lois Brendle. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Turner’s Creek Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Scott Welch officiating. Mrs. Lynch will be available for public viewing Friday, January 1st from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Turner’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3216 Courtney-Huntsville Rd Yadkinville, NC 27055.
