Anthony Lee Hatcher, Sr.

Boonville Mr. Anthony Lee Hatcher, Sr., 70, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Hatcher was born May 22, 1952 in Mercer County, WV to John Edward Hatcher and Lorene Severt. He was a member of Cornerstone Family Ministry. Mr. Hatcher enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hatcher was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Hatcher. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Vickie Britt Hatcher; children, Anthony (Misty) Hatcher, Jr. and Michelle (David) Pritchard; grandchildren, Heather, Tanner, Karsyn, Conner, and Chandler; a sister, Willie Mae Moore; and numerous other special family members and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Lenuel Lusk and Rev. Knox Britt officiating. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Hatcher family.
