Arlen Gayle Money

Mr. Arlen (Al) Gayle Money, age 73 of Yadkinville, passed away Thursday, June 20th, 2020. Mr. Money was born April 8th, 1947, in Elkin, NC, to Arlen Hardin Money and Vadie Luffman Money. He was a member of East Elkin Baptist Church and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He attended East Wilkes High School and the University of South Carolina. He received a Masters of Divinity Degree from Piedmont Bible College in 2009. An avid golfer, he was a past member of the Professional Golfers Association. He was Head Professional at several courses in North and South Carolina. He is survived by His Daughters Traci Chamberlain Farley and Meredith Money Egri, and Sons Chris Chamberlain and Al Money Jr; His sisters, Shelby Money Pettyjohn and Judy Money Walker and his brother James Keith Money; His Grandchildren, Kati Sterling, Ethan Farley, Ryan, and Jake Chamberlain, Edward Bradley Wrenn, Summer Wrenn, and Alexis Egri; as well His Great-grandchildren Mason Kuykendall, Sandra Sterling, and Lena Sterling. The family requests that memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
