Arnold Wagoner

Mr. Arnold Wagoner, 78, passed away on September 14, 2023 at his home. He was born on October 8, 1944 to the late Richard Grover Wagoner and Pearl Benton Wagoner. Arnold loved anything that involved being outdoors and also loved spending time with his special canine friend, Cricket.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Grover Wagoner; two sisters, Carrie Wilmoth and Novella Adams; his beloved brother-in-law, Buck Lewis; a niece Vicky Hartwell; and two nephews, Donnie Wagoner and David Wagoner. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Peggy Lewis Wagoner; daughters, Susie Bryant of Ronda, Amanda Wagoner (Porter) of Ronda, Christy (Charles) Osborne of Mountain View; a son, Michael (Vena) Cummings of Ronda; six grandchildren, Matthew Bryant of Yadkinville, Heather Bryant of Ronda, Toby Wagoner (Porter) of Ronda, Dylan Osborne of Mountain View, Michelle Cummings of Ronda, and Dakota Cummings of Jonesville; a great-grandson, Kaydean Edmonds of Ronda; a brother, Ivan (Mittie) Wagoner; beloved sister-in-law’s, Winnie Wagoner and Betty Ladd; and several nieces and nephews. The Wagoner family will receive friends on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 2:00-3:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
