Arthur "Smooth" Leroy Satterfield

Arthur L. “Smooth” Satterfield, age 61, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Mountain Valley hospice in Yadkinville, North Carolina. He was born in VA, Dec 8,1959 raised in Person County until he moved to Winston Salem and then later Yadkinville NC. He was a great man who knew a lot about cars. He worked on cars all his life until he got sick. Arthur was also preceded in death by his parents William and Frances Satterfield, and his wife DeLisa Satterfield. He is survived by one daughter Keisha Satterfield of Roxboro, NC; one step-daughter JeNarry Rhem of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandchildren, Cameron Harris of Roxboro, Noah and Jacob Ruiz of Winston Salem; One sister Helen Burton (Ray) of Roxboro, NC; one brother Alfred Satterfield of Chapel Hill NC. Honorary brothers (Dean Chandler & Eric of Roxboro NC, Larry Chandler of Winston Salem NC, Jasper Cunningham of VA and more); One Aunt Mary Whitlock of VA, several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special friend Regina. Memorial service will be Sunday March 20, 2021 at 3pm in Person County at Cunningham and Nelson. If you would like to pay respect here in Yadkinville, his home is open to visitors.
