Audrey Berlene Smoot Haynes

Audrey Berlene Smoot Haynes, 77, passed away Tuesday January 21, 2020. She was born June 27, 1942 in Surry County to the late Kapp Smoot and Berlene Hope Mathis Smoot. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Gloria Berlene Bracken. Surviving are her husband Edward Haynes; children Robert Glenn (Angela) Bracken, Robin Bracken-White (Brian); step children Lisa Haynes, Jeff Haynes; grandchildren Franky (Tabetha) Bracken, Darren (Rachael) Wagoner, Tater (Anna) Wagoner, Mattie White, Joshua (Jodie) Bracken, Dustin (Stephanie) Bracken, Gerald McCall, Henry (Tina) Haynes, Tiffany (James) Haynes; nine great grandchildren; brothers Archie Smoot, William (Barbara) Smoot, Lanny (Debbie) Mathis. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday January 23, 2020 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. Her funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday January 24, 2020 at Faith Community Baptist Church by Pastor Brian Poindexter and Rev. Don Ball. She will lie in state prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Woltz Hospice Home and the 9th Oncology floor at Forsyth Medical Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Haynes.
