Audrey Jenkins Joiner

Joiner Elkin – Audrey Ann Jenkins Joiner, 78, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. She was born August 30, 1939 in Surry County to the late Oscar and Lorine Tise Jenkins.  Audrey was a loving mother to so many and her faith touched many souls.  The world has lost a beautiful person, but Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Joiner; children, Lydia Joiner, Mike Joiner; brothers, Bill Jenkins, H.O. Jenkins, Jr.  Surviving are her daughters, Libby (Tommy) Swaim, Linda (David) Phillips; grandchildren, Dustin (Lane) Bledsoe, Wendy (Nakoma) Smith, Laken (Joseph) Royall, Megan (Johnny) Cagigas; great grandchildren, Lainey Smith, Natalie Smith, Colton Royall, Carson Royall; special nephews, Billy Wayne Jenkins, Randy Jenkins, Roger Jenkins, and other family members.  Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Second Chance Church, 449 Bear Creek Church Road, Dobson, NC  27017, by the Rev. Terry Coe.  Burial will follow at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Joiner family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
