Avery Loftin Johnson

Yadkinville – Avery Loftin Johnson, 77, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021. He was born August 29, 1943 in Iredell County to the late Avery Lee Johnson and Lois Anthony Johnson. Avery retired from Unifi after 28 ½ years of service. After retirement, he drove a school bus for several years. Surviving is his wife, Jane Brown Johnson; children, Myron (Rachael) Johnson, Jennifer (Dale) Martin; grandchildren, Pamela (Justin) Herold, Desiree Johnson, Skylar Martin; great grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Nevaeh Herold, Cooper Herold, Phoebe Wesolowski; brother, Adrian (Marlene) Johnson. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Charity Baptist Church by the Rev. Marty Nixon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
