Barbara Hutchens Smith

Yadkinville Ms. Barbara Lou Hutchens Smith, 65, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at her home. Ms. Hutchens was born July 7, 1956 in Yadkin County to John Hutchens and Pauline Shores Hutchens Riddle. In addition to her parents, Ms. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Hutchens; and sisters, Peggy Sue Hutchens, Linda Pauline Hutchens, and Jo Ann Jester. She is survived by two sisters, Carol Williams and Lisa (Junior) Coe; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentry Funeral Service to assist the family with the funeral cost. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Hutchens family.
