Barry Gray Adams, 59, ended his journey on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. He was born May 27, 1961 in Yadkin County to Johnny F. Adams and Betty Royall Adams. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny F. Adams, and mother-in-law, Frances Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary Miller Adams; his daughters, Ashley Adams (Brandon Hutchens), and Tara (Mike) Harris; grandchildren, Jaylyn Clay Adams, Branson Hutchens, Leah Harris, Kora Harris, Brantley Harris; mother, Betty Adams; brother, Marty Adams (Jeanette Turner); sister, Cindy Adams; father-in-law, Billy Miller; nieces, and nephews, Cory Adams, Katlyn Adams (DJ Craig), Kentrey Craig, Allen (Brandy) Doub, Casey (Suzanne) Doub, Layla (Brock) Parrish, Alana Doub, Eli Doub, Shelby Doub, Willow Parrish, Briggs Parrish. He was a dedicated employee of Unifi for 42 years. Barry and Mary recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Barry enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garden, and he loved his John Deere tractor. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, riding on his 4-wheeler, and he also loved to watch his grandchildren play ball, drag race, and ride dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. The family will receive friends at Gentry Family Funeral Service, Friday, May 28, 2021 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. His funeral service will at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 29, 2021 in the Gentry Family Chapel with Chaplin Mark Brown officiating.
