Belle Wiles Cranfill

Mrs. Martha Belle Wiles Cranfill, age 101, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021. She was born January 29, 1920 in Yadkin County to the late George Bynum Wiles and Martha Garner Wiles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Monroe Cranfill; her brothers, Herbert, Tom, and Jack Wiles, and her sister, Annie Wiles Marsh. She is survived by her sons, Max Cranfill, and Rex (Donna) Cranfill; grandchildren, Victor (Angela) Cranfill, Shannon (Todd) Caudle; great-grandchildren, Joseph Cranfill, Clara Anne Caudle, and Caitlin Caudle; half-brother, Grady (Polly) Wiles. Mrs. Cranfill was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she enjoyed playing the piano. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Harmony Grove Friends Cemetery. Mrs. Cranfill will lie-in-state at the funeral home on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
