Benjamin Harry Casstevens

Benjamin Harry Casstevens, 75, passed away on Saturday January 23, 2021. He was born January 22, 1946 in Forsyth County to the late Charlie Zimmey “Bill” Casstevens and Mary Mozelle Royal Casstevens. Mr. Casstevens loved his family very much and he will be missed. He also enjoyed Photography and loved to travel. Mr. Casstevens served in the US National Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents who were from Spencer Rd. in Boonville; a brother Bobby Casstevens. Surviving are his wife Fairlin Prevette Casstevens of 32 years; a daughter Trista Love Casstevens; step daughter Denita (Mark) Wiles; two step sons Darrell (Karen) Prevette, Devin (Stacey) Prevette; grandchildren Jonah Brown, Phebe Brown, Leonna Wiles, Grant (Kristen) Wiles, Whitley (Daryl) Matkins, Taylor (Aubrey) Prevette, Audrey Prevette, Justin Fink, Kathryne Kilby; great grandchildren Zander Fink, MaKenna Matkins; sister Reba (Nick) Elliott; niece Becky (Daniel) Wood; nephew Joel Elliott. A public viewing will be held on Tuesday January 26, 2021 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. His funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 26, 2021 in the Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by Rev. Bobby Prevette and Pastor Tracy Nichols. Burial will follow at Mitchel’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for the loving care given to Mr. Casstevens.
