Benny Allen Hudson

Benny Allen Hudson 85, passed away March 25, 2025 at his home. He was born September 23, 1939 to Warren and Ila Patton Hudson who are deceased. Benny was self-employed as a farmer and body shop owner. His passion was restoring cars of all types. He never saw a stranger and would help anyone he could.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Sue Evans Hudson of 49 years, son Michael Hudson, sister Wanda Hudson Lankford (Butch), sister-in-law Gay Swisher, brother-in-law Ray Evans and many nieces and nephews whom he loved.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 28, 2025 at Gentry Family Chapel conducted by Rev. Jerry Sizemore. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Benfield officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017. Gentry Family Funeral Service, Jonesville, NC is serving the Hudson family.
