Benny Warren Swaim

Benny Warren Swaim, 76, passed away Sunday December 5, 2021. He was born June 21, 1945 in Yadkin County to the late James Clinton Swaim and Daisy Wagoner. Mr. Swaim owned and operated a paint and body shop since 1972.  His hobbies included racing, old cars, his four children, loved work, gardening, loved to give to others, he knew a little about everything. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister JoAnn Layell, brothers Rocky Swaim, Max Swaim. Surviving are his children Jeff (Patty) Swaim, Chad (Jeremiann) Swaim, Kenny (Heather) Swaim, Melanie Swaim; grandchildren C J Duplisea, Caleb Swaim, Megan Swaim, Robbie (Lindsey) Swaim, Madison (Matthew) Spillman, Lincoln Davis, MaKinna Swaim, Kelsey Swaim, Payten Swaim; sisters Rosaline Nettles, Carol (Red) Axsom, Linda Sizemore; brother Larry (Judy) Swaim. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 PM on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at Gentry Family Funeral service in Jonesville. His funeral will be conducted at 2:30 PM following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by Rev. Dale Cave. Burial will follow at North Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Swaim family.
