Bertha Mae Welch Doub

Bertha Mae Welch Doub, 80, passed away Tuesday September 27, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born April 13, 1942 in Yadkin County to the late Hubert Eugene Welch and Ila Marie Blakely Welch. Mrs. Doub graduated from King High School in 1960. Bertha was a member of Old Town Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant sons Anthony Shane Doub and Dustin Boyd Doub; brothers Kenneth Welch, Larry Welch, John Welch. Surviving are her husband of 55 years Walter Austin Doub, Jr.; daughter Shana (Cameron) Large; granddaughter Hannah Large; sister Brenda (Vernon) Matthews; special nieces and nephews Tammy, Keith, Chad, and Sherry. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday September 29, 2022 at Doub’s United Methodist Church in Pfafftown by Rev Rick Speas. In lieu of flowers memorials to Trellis Supportive Care PO Box 863 Walnut Cove, NC 27052. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Trellis for the loving care given to Mrs. Doub. Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend is serving the Doub family.
