Bette Ramsey Dinkins

Dinkins Yadkinville – Bette Jean Styles Ramsey Dinkins, 88, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. She was born April 2, 1930 in Asheville, NC to the late George and Hattie Keener Styles.  Bette was a member at Peacehaven Baptist Church.  She loved her church, flowers, and homemaking.  Surviving are her children, George Douglas Ramsey, Tammy Ramsey (Hassel, Jr.) Brown; grandchildren, Ashlee Jo Ramsey,  Hassel C. “Trey” Brown III; special niece, Jeri Rogers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her, 1st husband, Eugene Bernard Ramsey; two sisters, Beatrice Rabb and Lucille Love; and a daughter-in-law, Jo Ramsey. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  A private service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Yadkin Christian Ministries, 117 Woodlyn Drive, Yadkinville, NC  27055 or to New Horizon Adult Care, 1917 West Main Street, Yadkinville, NC  27055.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Dinkins family.
