Betty Harris Ashley

Betty Harris Ashley, age 86, passed away April 10, 2019. She was born December 12, 1932 in Wilkes County to the Yancy Harris and Lellar Vestal Harris. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Johnie “JP” Ashley; son Jeffrey Paul Ashley; 5 sisters; and 2 brothers. She is survived by her children Ricky W. Ashley, Lesa Ashley; grandchildren Andrew Moceri, Tiffany Moceri; sister Ruby Swaim; and many adored nieces and nephews.  A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Swan Creek Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM at the church.  Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
