Betty Bryant Chappell

Hamptonville – Betty Lou Bryant Chappell, 86, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020.  She was born June 4, 1933 in Surry County to the late Joseph Harrison Bryant and Celia Vestal Bryant.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Junior Chappell; son, Barry Chappell; grandson, Mark Colton Chappell; sisters, Sadie Vanhoy, Tula Walters; brothers, Rayford Bryant, Raymond Bryant, Leo Bryant, Bill Bryant, Earl Bryant.  Surviving are her children, Vickie (Rex) Styers, Robin Collins, J. Mark (Tammy) Chappell; grandchildren, Casey Styers, Kimberly Styers, Lindsay (Lee) Burchette, Chandler Chappell; great grandchild, Raelyn Burchette.  Her funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Mt. View Baptist Church by the Rev. Tim Tucker, the Rev. Don Hudson, and the Rev. Albert Everidge.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Mt.
