Betty Davis Bennett

Mrs. Betty Davis Bennett, 93, passed away on January 29, 2025. She was born on August 15, 1931 in Yadkin County to the late Jeff Davis and Dovie Spillman Davis. Betty was a faithful member of Forbush Baptist Church, where she was part of the WMU and quilt ministry. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, watching birds and reading her bible. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, William Lee Bennett; an infant grandson, Jake Dalton Fulp; and a brother, J.D. Davis. Betty is survived by her children, Mitzi B. Cartrette, Jeff Bennett, Gerri D. Bennett; a grandson, Peyton Bennett (Katie); niece and nephews, Steve Davis, Monta Oliver, Mark Davis; and her buddy, Ashton Cartrette. 

A graveside service for Betty will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Forbush Baptist Church Cemetery for her close friends and family. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Mountain Valley Hospice of Yadkinville for their love and care over Betty. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forbush Baptist Church general fund. 3917 Old US 421 Hwy E, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
