Betty Bryant Branon

Branon Yadkinville – Betty Bryant Branon, 88, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017.  She was born August 30, 1929 in Yadkin County to the late Dillard Abram Bryant and Daisy Coe Bryant.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul William Branon; brothers and sisters, Nancy Bryant, Rex Bryant, Claude Bryant, Nellie Swaim, Vermel Parker.  Surviving are her children, Gary (Su) Branon, Paulette (Ted) Ashley, Zondra (fiancé Michael Johnson) Stanley; grandchildren, Leigh Branon, Suzanne Branon, Paul Ashley, James Ashley, Nolan Stanley, Reid Stanley; great grandchild, Skylar Branon; sisters, Lois Hutchens, Kate Hutchens; and several nieces and nephews.  Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Bill Hale.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  Memorials can be made to Yadkinville Hospice Home, 243 N.
