Betty Jester Groce

Betty Jester Groce, 74, passed away Thursday May 3, 2018. She was born June 6, 1943 in Yadkin County to the late Paul Jester and Lora Cranfill Jester. Mrs. Groce was a loving mother, grandmother and she loved shopping. She was a member of Forbush Baptist Church where she served on several committees and was involved at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Jesse Groce. Surviving are her daughter Karen G. (Ken) Malloy; grandson Randy Malloy; brother Donald (Hilda) Jester; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Pm Sunday May 6, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday May 7, 2018 at Forbush Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Justin C. Crouse and Rev. Kelley Groce.
