Betty Lee Long

Long Hamptonville – Betty Lee Long, 74, passed away Wednesday, May 03, 2017. She was born in Yadkin County on December 6, 1942 to Ernest Raymond “Pete” and Ivy Lee Long. She was a member of Longtown United Methodist Church. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Frank Long and a sister Brenda Anne Long. She loved shopping especially for her grandchildren whom she dearly loved. She is survived by two sons Damon (Melissa) Long and Kevin (Jessica) Long, three granddaughters Samantha Grace Long, Kasey Suzanne Cheek, Lyndsay Marie Cheek, two grandsons Reece Wayne Long and Preston Wayne Long. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Longtown United Methodist Church with Dr. Bill Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Longtown Cemetery.
