Betty Lou Anthony Frost

Mocksville Mrs. Betty Lou Anthony Frost, 70, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Frost was born April 6, 1951 in Davie County to Ray Anthony and Blanche Cuthrell Hill. She was a faithful member of Greater Emmanuel Word of Faith Christian Community Church where she served as trustee. She was a minister, and was involved in the “Freedom Road Ministry”. Mrs. Frost loved flowers and she enjoyed being with people. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Frost was preceded in death by three sisters, Faye Elaine, Harriet Elizabeth, and Bernice Roberta; three brothers, James Edward, Bobby Ray, and John Ed Anthony. She is survived by her husband William “Buster” Frost; two children, Michelle (Bill) Wharton and Terrell Frost; grandchildren, Brittany and Khiry Wharton; three sisters, Debra Williams, Sharon Williams and Patricia (Harold) Hymes; and special friends, Evangelist Latesa Barrett and husband Bobby, Anna Brown, Apostle Taylor and husband Thaxton, the GE church family and a host of other special friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00PM, Monday, May 10, 2021 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Mrs. Frost’s sisters, her son-in-law, and her grandchildren for the loving care. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Frost family.
