Betty Lou Wagoner Macemore Baity

Jonesville Mrs. Betty Lou Wagoner Macemore Baity, 79, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Baity was born March 17, 1938 in Yadkin County to Roby and Louisa Shore Wagoner. She was a member of Swaims Baptist Church. She worked many years as a bus driver and also owned Country Girl Beauty Shop. Mrs. Baity had greenhouses for several years and sold plants to people all over. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baity was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Baity; and four brothers, RJ, Mikle, Arthur, and Harold Wagoner. She is survived by two children, Twilla (Kenneth) Barteld and Morris (Tina) Macemore; six grandchildren, Jason & Julia Marsh, Dalton & Chance Barteld, Ashley & Tabitha Macemore; three great grandchildren and one on the way, Ethan & Addison Marsh and Kacey Barteld; one brother, Howard (Linda) Wagoner; a sister-in-law, Edna Wagoner; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Friday March 9, 2018 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. R. Howard Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow at Swaims Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Thursday evening at Gentry Funeral Service in Jonesville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
