Betty June Salmons

Betty June Salmons, 85, passed away Friday September 2, 2022 at Yadkin Nursing Center. She was born June 13, 1937 in Yadkin County to the late Leonard Leroy Salmons and Flora Etta Dudley Salmons. Mrs. Salmons loved to crochet and do puzzle books. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Nancy Fields; granddaughters Amy Hutchens, Brandy Pilcher, Crystal Hutchens; grandson Ryan Hutchens; sister Martha Gill. Surviving are her daughters Linda Hutchens, Ann (Roger) Hutchens, Debbie (Joel) Collar; grandchildren Jeremy (Emily) Casstevens, Joshua Casstevens, Chris Hutchens, Kimberly (Saeed) Iqbal, Bradley Pilcher, Brandon Pilcher; thirteen great grandchildren; brothers Harold (Janet) Salmons, Gray (Debbie) Salmons, Billy “Fish” (Diane) Salmons. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Sunday September 4, 2022 at Gentry Family Funeral service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted following the visitation in Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Matthew Wyatt. Burial will follow at Harmony Grove Friends Cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice and Yadkin Nursing Care Center for the loving care given to Betty.
