Betty Wright Shelton

Shelton East Bend – Betty Jane Wright Shelton, 85, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She was born October 7, 1936 in Franklin County, Virginia to the late Issac Stoner Wright and Sarah Guthrie Wright. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Otha Zane Shelton; two grandchildren, Dennie Brumfield, Keisha Dowell; and ten brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children, Patricia Davis, Dreama (Ronnie) Mabry, Lendy Brumfield, Sammy Brumfield; grandchildren, Stoner Shores, Nikki Bacon, Jessie Wall, D.J. Brumfield, Corey Ireland, Melaine Ireland, Tyler Brumfield, Lakota Brumfield, Caroline Brumfield; great grandchildren, Carson, Gracious, Issac, Sunny, Mia, Bishop, Megan, Xander, Isabella, Luke; and her brothers, Lee Roy Wright, Franklin Wright. Her graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM Friday, October 29, 2021 at Enon Baptist Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Shelton family.
