Betty Jean Gough Spillman

Betty Jean Gough Spillman, 84, passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017. Mrs. Spillman was born September 15, 1932 in Yadkin County to the late Lawrence and Turney Vestal Gough. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter LuAnn Spillman Hinshaw. She is survived by her husband of 67 years Odell Spillman; granddaughter Nikki (Nicholas) Adams, great granddaughter Natalie Adams; sister Linda (Larry) Ashby; two special friends Marlene Wood and Priscilla Eller. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday May 19, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Bill Hale. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Woltz Hospice Home for the loving care given to Mrs. Spillman.
