Betty Villarreal

Betty Ann Villarreal, 58, of Hamptonville, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Betty was born on October 18, 1966, and was the daughter of the late Decidoro Villarreal and Gregoria Saldivar Villarreal.

Betty embraced life with an unwavering spirit. Always on the go, she thrived on activity and found it difficult to be idle for long. Her passion for hard work was evident in everything she did. She was truly a fighter. Throughout her journey, Betty faced numerous challenges but persevered with remarkable strength. Family was her everything. As a devoted mother of 6 and a cherished grandmother of 12, she stood as the steadfast pillar that held the family together. With a nurturing green thumb, she loved to garden, cultivating not only plants but also the bonds of love and affection that she shared with her family. Kindness radiated from her, and countless people knew her for her generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand. Betty was deeply beloved by her family and many others, and her vibrant spirit will be missed dearly.

Betty is survived by her children; Priscilla Ann Estrada Corona, Darrick Foster Villarreal, Amanda Vargas, Erica Vargas, Christina Vargas and Alejandra Tina Vargas and her twelve grandchildren; Ada Moreno, Pablo Hernandez, Sapphire Hernandez, Bettynise Hernandez, Lucas Hernandez, Mateo Hernandez, Azul Castro, Jose Castro, Epigmenio Castro, Gracie Garris, Maximiliano Vargas and Eric Gonzalez.
