Betty Hawkins Walters

Eden Mrs. Betty Jean Hawkins Walters, 81, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Cone Health Medical Center. Mrs. Walters was born June 9, 1939 in Bibb County, GA to Franklin and Pity Barclay Hawkins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walters was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Samuel Walters; a great granddaughter, Alena Lynn Walters; and a brother, Troy Hawkins. She is survived by two children, Deborah Gayle (Dick) Wooten and Steven Daryl Walters; a grandson, Scott Bradley (Cindy) Walters; and a great grandson, Rayden Samuel Walters. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Yadkin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lucrecia Norman officiating. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Walters family.
