Bill Hampton Adams

Mr. Bill Hampton Adams, 90, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025. He was born March 30, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Arthur Adams and Thursie Alley Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Speer Adams; and five siblings. Mr. Adams loved spending time with his grandchildren. In his younger days, he enjoyed fishing, shooting, his horses and cows. Bill enjoyed watching old westerns and listening to old country music. He is survived by his daughters, Kim Adams Williams (Bernie), Tonya Adams Shumate; grandchildren, Michael Lee Doub (fiancé Charlotte), Kyle Wayne Doub, Joshua Ray Shumate, Levi Cory Shumate (fiancé Emma); great-grandchildren, Gavin Doub, Caden Doub, Cannon Doub; sisters, Faye Flynn, Bobbi Hershey, and Helen Bullin. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Faith Community Church Cemetery with Pastor Bob Edwards officiating.
