Bill Joe Carter

Bill Joe Carter passed away on February 1, 2021 at Woltz Hospice Home. Bill was born on February 2, 1933 to the late Ralph Lake and Lina Vestal Carter. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen Burgess.  Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to fish.  He was a proud United States Veteran of the US Army. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Benny Carter (Lynda Carter); grandchildren, Molly (Mike) Ford, Blake R. Carter; great-grandchildren, Carter Ford, Christian Ford; sister, Irene (Jay) Groce; special friend, Joyce Nance.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

The family is eternally grateful for the loving care given to Mr. Carter from the staff at Yadkin Valley Senior Living and Woltz Hospice Home and all of his Special Friends.
