Boonville-  Mr. Billy Wade Adams, 79, left his earthly home on October 18, 2018 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Bill retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 28 years of service.  He was a faithful member of Union Grove Baptist Church where he served the church as a member of the Deacon Board, Sunday School Teacher, worked on several mission trips with the Baptist Men’s Association, and as a greeter during Worship Service for years.  He loved to play Golf, when his health permitted, loved attending the Winston-Salem Dash Baseball games, and eating breakfast at the Williard Mill with his friends in the Union Cross Community.  Mr. Adams was a beloved husband, father, godfather, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Berlie C. and Maude W. Adams; sisters, Dorothy Holcomb, Evelyn Barnard, Reba Davis; brother, Hoyt Adams; and his niece, Christine Reed.  Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Doris S. Adams, of the home; his son, Timothy W. Adams of Winston-Salem; Goddaughter, Nameeta and Jacob Richard, their children, Rania and Kethan all of Portland, OR; Godsons, Tejus Penkar of San Clementa, CA., Maneesh and Sejal Penkar and children, Aiden and Kieran of Redondo Beach, CA; sisters-in-law, Barbara Adams and Brenda Puckett; nephews, Mike, Brent, Leslie, Dale, and Jason; nieces, Margaret, Jean, Debbie, Carmen, Cheryl, Dawn, Susan MC, Lisa, Susan M.; dear friends, Jyoti and Suresh Penkar; and a host of close friends.  The family will receive  friends from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM Sunday in the Gentry Family Chapel with Rev.
