Billy Autie Key

Jonesville – Billy Autie Key, 85, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021. He was born June 24, 1936 in Wilkes County to the late Autie Hoy Key and Blanche Adams Key. He was a loving husband of 64 years, the greatest Dad one could ask for, active grand and great grandfather, and respected carpenter of the community. Surviving is his wife, Dellaphine Carter Key; son, Billy Michael “Mike” Key and wife Donna; grandchildren, Michael “Mickey” Key and wife Amanda, Matthew “Matt” Key and wife Tam Quy, Jon Key, Aspen Key; great grandchildren, Ezra Key, Eli Key, Emma Key; sister, Kathy Key; brothers, Bobby Key and wife Willa Jean, Alan Key and wife Gemmie, Ricky Key and wife Vickie, Roger Key and wife Janet; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Jerry Sizemore. Burial will follow at Island Ford Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Key family.
