Blanche Arlene Robbins Stone

Blanche Arlene Robbins Stone, 96, passed away Saturday August 10, 2019. She was born in Yadkin County to the late Thomas Witt Robbins and Blanche Crater Robbins. Mrs. Stone founded Wilkes Faith Temple Church back in 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ford Stone. Surviving are her children Larry (Lynn) Stone, Bennie (Teresa) Stone, Sam (Terri) Stone, Rosalene (David) Shaffner; grandchildren Julie Stone, David Stone, Lara Potts, Jason Stone, Rachel Stone, Gabrielle Stone, Angela S. Shrewberry, Nicholas Shaffner, Jonathan Shaffner; eleven great grandchildren; a sister Ethel Britt. The family will receive friends from 2:45 – 3:45 PM Monday August 12, 2019 at Wilkes Faith Church. Funeral will be conducted at 4:00 PM Monday following the visitation at the church by Rev. Bobby W. Jenkins, Jr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Chatham Nursing Center and Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Stone.
