Blanche Pardue Dobbins

HamptonvilleMrs. Blanche Pardue Dobbins, 92, passed away Monday, December 04, 2017 at Pruitt Healthcare. Mrs. Dobbins was born January 23, 1925 in Wilkes County to Fletch and Alma Eller Pardue. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Dobbins enjoyed sewing and gardening. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dobbins was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Clay Dobbins; a son-in-law, Troy Spicer; three sisters, Notra Cheek, Rebecca Swaim, and Pauline Sparks; and one brother, Ruel Pardue. She is survived by two daughters, Doris Spicer and Donna (Dennis) Boyles; five grandchildren, Travis (Angie) Spicer, Cody (Hannah) Spicer, Kellie (Scott) Dimmette, Jarrin Boyles and Darrin Boyles; five great grandchildren, Jack, Madison, Aiden, Owen, and Andrew; a sister, Ruby Pinnix; a sister-in-law, Vallie Pardue; and several nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the church at 8027 Windsor Road Hamptonville, NC 27020. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn.
