Blanche Lowe Moss

Cana Mrs. Blanche Lillian Lowe Moss, 98, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Moss was born September 1, 1922 in Surry County to Corby and Elver Richardson Lowe. She enjoyed gardening, writing, and she loved her cats. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her first husband, Sydney Bryant; her second husband, Ernest Clarence Payne; her third husband, Zenith Moss; daughters, Betty Epperson, Marietta Lineberry, Linda Gail Bryant, and Margaret Hogan; a son, Larry Bryant; grandchildren, Shannon Causey, Albert Leroy Hicks, and Travis Lineberry; great grandchildren, Heather Causey and Charlie Austin Hicks; and a sister, Mable Hawks. She is survived by two children, Clifton Bryant and Martha Sue (James) Hicks; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and two sisters, Beulah Shaw and Rachel York. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Solid Rock Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Snow and Pastor Randy Parrish officiating. Mrs. Moss will be available for viewing at the graveside from 1:30 to 2:00PM prior to the service. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice and to Dr. Kristy Vest for the loving care given to Mrs. Moss. Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend is serving the Moss family.
