Bobbie Jane Collins

Yadkinville - Ms. Bobbie Jane Collins, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 21, 2023, after a long illness. Bobbie was born on December 16, 1940 to Robert Nelson and Gertie Flynn Collins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rosie Lee (Verne) Warden, Jehnie Vee (John) Warden, Betty Collins, Joan Collins Shelba (Clifford) Royall, Susie Collins, and Edith (Curman) Sprinkle.  Surviving is her sister, Kay (James) Driver, and several nieces and nephews.  A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 24, 2023 in the Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with the Rev. Bobby Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Friends Meeting Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Yadkin Nursing Center and Liberty Hospice for the loving care during Bobbies illness.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the family of Bobbie Jane Collins.  On-line condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com
