Bobby Frank Ireland

Hamptonville Bobby Frank Ireland, 69, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Duke Medical Center. Mr. Ireland was born November 20, 1950 in Davie County to Clyde and Mary Potts Ireland. He was a member of West Yadkin Baptist Church and Harmon Masonic Lodge in Courtney. Mr. Ireland enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles. He worked in the on the pipeline and construction for over 20 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ireland was preceded in death by a son, Darren Ray Ireland; and a brother, Kenny Ireland. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jean Brooks Ireland; a son, Bobby Scott Ireland; three grandchildren, Mack, Lexi, and Lyci; three brothers, Wayne (Sue) Ireland, Roger (Myra) Ireland, and Dale Ireland; and two K-9 companions, Digger and Peterbilt. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Friday, November 20, 2020 at West Yadkin Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Odom officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Ireland will be available for viewing Friday, Nov. 20th from 8:00 to 2:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
