Bonnie Sue Ball Ford transcended this earthly realm on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, to reunite with her mother and father in the Lord’s radiant embrace. 1 Corinthians 15:43: It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. She was born on July 11, 1952, to Grace and Dallas Ball. Bonnie was well loved by everyone she met. She was the face of Combs Butcher Shoppe for over a decade where she brightened the day of all who came in contact with her. The memory of her kindness and generosity will live on forever in our hearts and minds. She is survived by her daughter Dawn Bagale (Justin Wood— the best one yet), three granddaughters: Gabrielle (Michael) Catanzaro, Alexandra Bagale and Isabella Bagale, two very special great-grandchildren that were the “apples of her eye”: Danilyn McCann and Damian Catanzaro, her cat Tom who she loved to hate and hated to love, five loving brothers and sisters: Howard (Rose) Ball, Dorothy (William) Freeman, Donald (Jackie) Ball, Judy (Eddie) Steedly and Dallas (Sherry) Ball, and many beloved nieces and nephews that will miss her forever. Viewing for Bonnie will be at Gentry funeral home in Jonesville, Thursday, Dec. 9, from 1-2 p.m., followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Gardens in State Road. A special thank you to all of Bonnie’s nieces for their many calls, texts and visits since this began in October and to Linda Reece and the excellent Pruitt family for going above and beyond during Bonnie’s last week of life. As Bonnie prepares her ascent to her heavenly home, her granddaughters are reminded fondly of the last parting words they always shouted: “Marilyn Monrolls, it never fails, that’s our destiny.”
