Brady Robert Wooten

Hamptonville – Brady Robert Wooten, 79, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022. He was born May 31, 1942 in Wilkes County to the late Paul Robert Wooten and Bernice Sturdivart Wooten. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Wooten; sister, Judy Edmonds. Surviving is his wife, Ruth Newman Wooten; children, David (Nancy) Wooten, Katie (Thomas) Foster, Zeth Wooten; grandchildren, Shannon (Pamela) Wooten, Marshall Wooten, Eugene (Tina) Wooten; great grandchildren, Caitlin (Dylan) Carr, Michael Foster, Marilyn Foster; seven step grandchildren; great great grandchildren, Hunter Carr; seven step great great grandchildren; sisters, Joan (Ray) Wooten, Phyllis Johnson, Vivian (Dale) Triplett, Darlene (Johnny) Layell; brother, Dale Wooten; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Friday, February 18, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Ronnie Moore, Jr. Burial will follow at Sandy Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00PM Friday, prior to the service, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Wooten family.
