Brenda Carico Bullin

Boonville Mrs. Brenda Marlene Carico Bullin, 73, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Hugh Chatham Hospital. Brenda was born June 27, 1949, in Virginia to George and Ruth Carico. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking, but her favorite was spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Fred and Pearl Owens; and a sister, Betty Cox. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronald “Don” Bullin; two sons, Ronnie (Amanda) Bullin and Donnie (Debra) Bullin; grandchildren, Colton Bullin, Kylie Bullin, Kaitlyn Decker, and Carson Bullin; nieces, Martina and Bettina Smith; Godchildren, Skylar and Logan Raines; and her special K-9 companion, KC. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00PM, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel with Pastor Don Fellows officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brenner Children’s Hospital. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Bullin family.
