Brenda Styers Davis

East Bend Mrs. Brenda Ann Styers Davis, 71, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Davis was born September 17, 1945 in Yadkin County to Paul and Neomi Shore Styers. She was a member of Rockford Baptist Church. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed working in her flowers. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Junior Styers. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Arvil “Edward” Davis; two children, Greg (Sandy) Davis and Dee Ann (Bobby) Payne; three grandchildren, Trevor Davis, Madison (Justin) Hutchens, and Jessica Powell; three great grandchildren, Raelynn Hutchens, Bentley Powell and Emerie Powell; and one sister, Wanda (Robert) Brown. A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00PM, Friday, May 5, 2017 at Rockford Baptist Church with Pastor Benjamin Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rockford Baptist Church, 4947 Rockford Rd. Dobson, NC 27017.
