Brenda Winters Mallard

Lewisville Mrs. Brenda Winters Mallard, 63, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Mallard was born February 19, 1954 in Yadkin County to Clifford and Margaret Vestal Winters. She was beautiful, caring lady who loved animals and camping. She was a faithful donor to Alpha Acres, a charity dear to her heart. Brenda retired from RJ Reynolds and attended Redland Pentecostal Holiness Church. Brenda was a very giving, generous person who lived to help others. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mallard was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Freddie Winters; and a brother-in-law, Travis Mallard. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, David Sheppard Mallard; a brother, Wesley (Brenda) Winters; sisters-in-law, Dee Anna (Tony) Hill, Ruth (Danny) Decker, and Dawn (Kelly) Galloway; nieces, Wendy (Jeff) Harris and Holly (Luke) Money; great nephews, Carter and Brock Money; great niece, Hope Harris; several nieces and nephews; and two special K-9 companions, Toshia and Tandy. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel with Pastor Luke Money and Rev. JP Sizemore officiating. Entombment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston Salem. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
