Carl Max Cranfill

Yadkinville – Carl Max Cranfill, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. He was born October 20, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Belle Wiles Cranfill and Carl Monroe Cranfill. He is survived by his son, Victor (Angela) Cranfill, brother, Rex (Donna) Cranfill and his grandson, Joseph Cranfill. Max enjoyed his career at Unifi and after retiring spent many years in the robotics industry. Max enjoyed water skiing; at one time he was state champion for 13 different states. Max was instrumental in the set up and design of the Storehouse for Jesus in Mocksville where he volunteered lots of his time. A graveside service will be held 12:30PM, Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Harmony Grove Friends Cemetery by Pastor Chris Benfield. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside from 11:00AM to 12:00PM Thursday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Memorials can be made to dementia society.org.
