JONESVILLE - Mrs. Carol Jean Evans Vestal, 65, of Oakland Blvd passed away peacefully Sunday, October 20, 2024 at her home. She was born September 28, 1959 in Yadkin County to the late Wayne Gray and Betty Jean Roberts Evans. Mrs. Vestal worked with Unifi, Inc. of Yadkinville for several years, was of the Baptist Faith, and was a strong Christian Lady who loved all of her family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Davis Vestal; her sister, Wanda Kay Evans Spicer; and her great-nephew, Dillon Vestal. Surviving are her brothers, David (Jo) Evans and Gary (Pebbles) Evans; nieces and nephews, Angie S. (Kenny) Sherman, Dusty Spicer, Curtis Evans, Brittany Evans; a special great-niece, Brianna; and great-nieces, Dakota, Skylar, Bristol; and several special aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Jonesville. Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Chris Benfield. Interment will follow in Victory Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
