Carol Jean Royall Walsh

Carol Jean Royall Walsh, 75, passed away Sunday December 27, 2020 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Carol was born March 4, 1945 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late Hubert Royall and Lucille Steelman Royal. Mrs. Walsh was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Clyde Walsh, her twin sister Nancy Joan Royall and two brothers; Michael and Richard Royall and two grandchildren, Jerry Wade Stotler and Christin Stotler. Survivors include her two daughters; Rita Walsh Upchurch (Kemper) and Regenia Walsh Rutledge (Michael), four grandchildren; Jacob Hanks, Jarrett Hanks, Tiffany Stotler and Ashtyn Hill, ten great grandchildren, sister; Betty Adams and a brother, Hubert Grey (Bud) Royall (Vivian). She was a member of Thanks to Calvary Church in Elkin, spending her time with her Lord by reading her Bible and listening to preaching. Loved her cats, bird watching and writing. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at 2:00pm at Lakeside Church with Mr. Danny Royall and Rev. Kemper Upchurch officiating. Burial will follow at Traphill Baptist Church Cemetery in Traphill, NC. You may come by Gentry Funeral Service and sign her Register book on Tuesday from 9:00 to 12:00 pm.
