Yadkinville-  Mrs. Carol Renee Comer Petree, 54, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.  She was born January 23, 1965 in Yadkin County to the late John Cyrus and Lula Faye Allen Comer.  Mrs. Petree had been a member of South Oak Ridge Baptist Church and worked for several years in the Textile Industry.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Rita Comer.  Surviving are her two loving sons, Derrick Wade McCollum and Daniel Wayne Petree both of Yadkinville; and her nephews, Johnny Stevenson, Vincent White, and Robert White.  The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 PM Sunday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  Her Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM Sunday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev.
