Yadkinville-  Mrs. Carol Jean Spillman, 75, of Garner Road passed away peacefully Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Yadkin Nursing Center.  She was born December 24, 1943 in Yadkin County to the late Wade and Lala Snow Doss.  Mrs. Spillman was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and attended Peace Haven Baptist Church for several years.  She loved listening to music, singing, working with her flowers, and taking care of her German Shepherds.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Spillman; her daughter, Terri Spillman Brooks; and her brother, Wayne Doss.  Surviving are her son, Tracy Spillman (Teresa) ; granddaughters, Kali Brown, Sydney Rhoden; son-in-law, James Brooks, Jr.; sister, Wanda Matthews; and brothers, Tommy (Sylvia) Doss and Joe (Carolyn ) Doss.  A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
