Mrs. Carol Jean Royall Stewart, 76, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Stewart was born March 23, 1945 in Yadkin County to John D. and Gladys Vickers Royall.  She enjoyed taking Sunday drives and scrolling on Facebook. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Marty Parks; two sisters, Patty Owens and Faye Reeves; and three brothers, James, Calvin and Archie Royall.  She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Billy Ray Stewart; a daughter, Lisa Stewart Parks; grandchildren, Taylor Ryan Parks and Hailey Raelyn Parks; two sisters, Ruth (Dale) Mathis and Annie Royall; and a brother, Tony Royall.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM, prior to the service.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Iredell Memorial and Christina in CCU for the loving care given to Mrs. Stewart.
